About the Artist:

Glyn Uzzell (1930–2014) was an English painter and printmaker known for his atmospheric abstract works and innovative printmaking techniques. His career spanned Geneva, Paris, and Portugal, where he produced deeply expressive engravings and lithographs influenced by environment, texture, and mood. Uzzell exhibited widely throughout Europe, and his work is held in major permanent collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
