Elias Mandel Grossman was born in Kobryn, Russia in 1898.  He is known as a painter, lithographer and graphic artist.  His work is in the collections of the British Museum, the Tel-Aviv Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and many others.  He was a member of the Society of American Etchers.  Elias passed away in 1947.
