We have a very large framing and mat selection. Avery Gallery recommends and applies the guidelines for proper framing of quality works of art in any medium. Collectable paintings, family photos, needle work, diplomas and certificates, mirrors, and objects of all kinds. Sheepskin diplomas and documents a specialty. We properly clean, mount and counter-mount all types of velum (animal skin).
Options are presented according to color and texture, artist, period and the level of formality. Quality materials and workmanship go into everything we do. You may design a never before made frame and we will construct it for you. We have over two thousand samples of frames and mats, so there is a very large set of choices. We have recast some antique frames we have restored, and will put a finish on them to your request.
Acid free museum mounting, matting and backing are available and recommended for original works. Ultra violet blocking and convex glass is available as well. We are not able to provide conservation convex glass.
Reproductions are available by some of the artists, and our catalog system provides over 125,000 posters and images by the old masters and thousands of other artists. We stock a variety of sizes, colors, and subjects to fill the needs of any home, office, school or religious location.
Artwork to be framed that we have given an estimate on, but not had a deposit made to contract the work to be done, and left for more than thirty days will be charged a storage fee of $5 per day per piece. The same charge applies to work completed but not picked up after 30 days after being informed of completion. Please make arrangements to avoid any extra charges. Thank you and please come see us. We will give you a tour of our gallery, frameshop and restoration lab.
